Each cake is crafted with the finest ingredients and attention to detail, ensuring that both taste and design exceed your expectations. Location

Marie Bakes is based in the Poplar Run neighborhood of Silver Spring, Maryland. Please note that, unless it's a wedding cake, all orders are only available for pickup directly from my location.

The wedding cake deliver fee is based on time and distance to the location or venue.

Cake Flavors

Chocolate A classic, rich chocolate flavor. Black Out Chocolate Like classic chocolate, but black. Think oreos. Red Velvet Classic red velvet flavor. Rich and decadent.

Vanilla White cake with a delicious vanilla flavor - made with my own homemade vanilla. Almond White cake with a delicious almond extract flavor. Popular as a wedding cake flavor. Confetti White vanilla cake with splashes of color.

Strawberry Fun strawberry cake. Made with real and artificial flavors. Pumpkin Made with real pumpkin. Pairs well with cream cheese frosting. Lemon Made with real lemons. Tart and tasty!

Pricing

Since each cake design is custom, there are no fixed prices. However, there is a minimum order of $50.00. While a 4-inch cake is priced below $50, this is available only as an add-on. Stacking cakes is included at no extra charge, but please note that a delivery fee applies for stacked cakes, as they must be assembled on-site at the event.

Below are examples of minimum prices (excluding taxes and delivery):

• 4-inch round, 4-8 servings, $20
• 6-inch round, 12-14 servings, $50
• 8-inch round, 20-24 servings, $80
• 10-inch round, 28-38 servings, $98
• 12-inch round, 40-56 servings, $120
• 14-inch round, 63-78 servings, $189

These prices represent the base cost for simple designs.

Booking a Cake

Please place cake orders at least two weeks in advance. There’s no such thing as too much notice, so feel free to order six months ahead or more. If an order is placed less than two weeks before the event, a rush fee may apply, or it may not be possible to fulfill the order.

A minimum 50% retainer is required to guarantee any order. Without a retainer, I do not hold dates or place orders on my calendar or schedule. I accept cash, checks, Venmo and Zelle.
